Adding a Family to an Envelope List

This article provides information about adding a family to an envelope list.

All mailing lists are managed within Directory. A new family in Directory can only be added to an envelope list once their address has been added and an envelope number has been assigned.

 

Adding a Family to an Envelope List

Once a new family has been added to Directory, their assigned envelope number and available envelope lists are able to be viewed on the Family Detail card.

Switching the toggle button on adds a family to an envelope list.

Switching the toggle button off removes a family from an envelope list.
 


An alert icon appears at the top of the envelope list if an attempt is made to add a family to an envelope list without an envelope number and a primary address being added to Directory first. Once an envelope number has been set for the family, they can be added to an envelope list. 
 


Starter Sets

When a family is added to a list, if Automatically Send Starter Sets is set to on for the account, the system processes the order for a starter set automatically.

If Automatically Send Starter Sets is not activated for the account, a message is provided with an option to send a starter set when a family is added to a list. 

Select the green check icon to place a starter set order.
