Update Email Preferences

This article provides steps to update the email preferences for your profile.

To help keep you updated, users with Billing Administrator, Owner, and Giving Administrator permissions automatically receive email updates on important data and events in the system. You can customize your email preferences to receive only the communications you need or want.

 

Complete the following steps to update your profile email preferences:

1. Hover over your Profile Name / Image to view the profile drop-down menu.

2. In the drop-down menu, select My Profile.


3. On the Email Preferences card, select or deselect email communication options you wish to update.

Note* Changes to email preferences may take up to 24 hours to take effect.


The following Email Communication options can be updated:

Billing

  • New Automatic Payment Enrollment - notification following any successful automatic payment enrollment 
     
  • Expiring Discounts - notification of expiring early payment discounts (sent three days before the discount expires) 
     
  • Cancelled Payment - notification following any cancelled scheduled payment 
     
  • Scheduled Payment - notification following any manually scheduled payment 
     
  • Cancelled Automatic Payment Enrollment - notification following any cancelled automatic payment enrollment 
     
  • New Invoices Available - notification of new invoices that have been generated and are available in the customer portal 
     
  • Processed Payment - notification following any successful online invoice payment 
     
  • Scheduled Automatic Payment - notification following any automatically scheduled payment (automatically scheduled payments occur three days before the invoice due date)


Portal

  • User Acceptance - notification following any user invitation acceptance


Giving

  • Admin Summary (including frequency: daily, weekly, or monthly) - recurring email with Giving statistics for the time period specified


Note* The email communication options displayed are related to your user permissions. The respective communication preferences are only displayed for users with Billing Administrator, Owner, and/or Giving Administrator permissions.
