About the Religious Education Student Card

This story provides an overview of the various features associated with the Religious Education student card.

The student card, located within a term in the Religious Education module, provides access for a user to quickly and conveniently view student detail which provides the student's name, age, primary contact, allergies, and absences, and a link to the student's details including active classes and class history. If there are notes on the student, the notes are viewable as well. The user can view and take action for one or more students on the student card. 

An administrator can also use the shortcut on the student card to quickly view a student's Member Detail  information, which resides in Directory. 

The administrator can assign approved, registered students from the class detail screen on the student card.

Student sacramental certificates for Confirmation and First Communion can be added from the student card. Sacraments added from the student card are reflected in Directory, eliminating the need to navigate to Directory.  An administrator can also record multiple sacraments for one or more students in the class from the student card. 

The administrator can download a file from the student card of all Confirmation or First Communion Sacrament certificates for selected students who have certificates.  The user can select one, or multiple students at a time and then save or print the selected certificates.  

The sacraments can also be updated on the student card. The updated sacrament information is stored in Directory. The ability to make any edits is only presented to the user if that sacrament has already been added, and the icon is visible on the Student Card. 

And finally, a Religious Education administrator can send a group message from the student card to the primary contact of selected students. The administrator can select one, or multiple students at a time.
